Facial Acupuncture

Facial acupuncture uses very fine needles at points on the face, together with a few points on the body. I'm trained in facial acupuncture and offer it on its own or as part of a regular acupuncture visit.
In Traditional Chinese Medicine the face isn't treated in isolation. How your skin looks and where your face holds tension are read alongside your sleep, digestion, stress and cycle, so each visit starts with a short consultation and I choose body points to match what I find.
People often come because their face holds tension, such as jaw clenching or a furrowed brow, because their skin has looked tired or puffy through a stressful stretch, or simply for a calm, restorative session.
What to expect: a first facial visit is 75 to 90 minutes ($165) and follow-ups are 60 minutes ($140). If you're already a patient, you can book a facial follow-up directly. The needles are ultra-fine and placed shallowly, and most people find the session relaxing. Small bruises can occasionally appear and fade within a few days. After your first consultation, I'll suggest a course of visits suited to you.
If you've had cosmetic injections, please wait at least 6 weeks before facial acupuncture. If you're planning any, mention it when you book and I'll advise you on how to space your visits.
Everyone's skin and body respond differently, and I make no promises about results. What I offer is careful, individualized care.
